Galaxy Note cover review – Samsung Flip CoverBy
The original Galaxy Note cover by Samsung
Coming out with the Samsung Galaxy Note was a very bold move for Samsung, but the risk ultimately paid off in the end. It’s the perfect phone for anyone who needs the extra screen real estate (movie buffs, ebook readers etc) but doesn’t want to deal with the bulk of a tablet. The Note is essentially a phone and a tablet that fits in your pocket, and that last part is where a decent Samsung cover comes in handy. There is, after all, a lot of room for dust on that huge Super AMOLED screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note cover is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) product, which means it was made by Samsung. It wraps around the phone very tightly, but it’s still easy to take the phone in and out of the case. You shouldn’t need to take it out to begin with, since there is a camera hole on the back, the headphone jack is exposed at the top, the volume rocker is accessible at the side, while the stylus slot and the miniUSB port are easily accessible from the bottom. This cover is made out of leather and comes in dark blue, white, brown and orange. It’s up to personal preference, but any of the colors make this jacket give your phone a professional look.
The price may seem too good to be true, but don’t let that fool you. It’s an OEM cover, so it looks and feels like a premium product, while keeping your Galaxy Note in tip-top shape and protecting it from scratches, dust, pocket lint or anything else it may encounter. Comparing to one of the many cheap third-part accessories around will definitely make the difference felt. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an affordable yet quality cover to keep their precious Samsung Galaxy Note phone/tablet shiny.
